THE LAKE

Lake Granby is one of Colorado’s most scenic mountain reservoirs, surrounded by forests, mountain peaks, and endless outdoor recreation.

Because the lake is fed by seasonal snowpack and runoff, water levels naturally change throughout the year. In lower snow years, the shoreline may recede, revealing a wide alpine beach directly in front of the cabin. Guests often love this unique seasonal landscape for beach walks, sunset views, and extra room to relax along the water.

No matter the lake level during your stay, you’ll still enjoy direct access to the shoreline along with complimentary kayaks and paddle boards provided for guest use. Depending on conditions, you may simply carry them a short distance across the natural beach before launching.
